"Bayan Monochrome", orjinal karakter tasarımı seiyu sanatçısı Horie Yui tarafından yapılmıştır. 2012'nin Mart ayında, "Miss Monochrome" u ilk kez kendi konserinde 3d sanal şarkıcı olarak "Horie Yui wo Meguru BoukenIII - Secret Massion Tour- " şarkısını söyletmiştir. Daha sonra, bir sürü oyuncağı ve sosyal ağ oyunu "Girlfriend (Beta)" da ortaya çıktı.
