Dünya'nın derinliklerindeki Dinozor İmparatorluğu, insanlığı yok edip, gezegeni mekanik dinazorlarıyla fethetmek için harekete geçer. Prototip bir Getter Robo, bir mekanik dinozor tarafından vurulduktan sonra, Saotome Araştırma Enstitüsü, savaş gücüne sahip gerçek bir Getter Robo'yu kullanmaya karar verir. Enstitüdeki pilot eksikliği nedeniyle Ryo Nagare; dövüş sanatçısı Musashi Tomoe ve dışlanmış Hayato Jin'i kendisine katılmaya, yeni tehditle savaşmak ve insanlığı korumak için Getter pilotu olmak üzere, enstitüye katılmaya ikna eder.
