Modern Pinokyo olarak da anılan Osamu Tezuka’nın elinden çıkma Astro Boy [Tetsuwan Atom] bir döneme damga vurmuş çocuklara hitaben bir bilim kurgudur. Önce manga sonra 60’larda ilk anime serisi, 80’lerde ikinci seri ve son olarak 2003’te modernize edilen anime serisi mevcuttur. Hikâyemiz: Hiçbir yazılım kullanılmadan tamamen yapay zekâ ürünü, insanoğlu ile robotlar arasında köprü görevini görmesi için yaratılan robot Atom’un dünyadaki maceralarını konu almaktadır. Yalnızlık, yardımseverlik, insan ve robot ilişkisini de derinlemesine değinen eser; Yediden yetmişe herkesi etkileyip sorgulatacak iteliktedir.
